Studio 301 offers Baton Twirling dance training with an emphasis on Majorette Team Prep in Chesapeake, OH
Baton Twirling classes are available for students Ages 6-18.
Part of our Spirit Performance Program, Baton Twirling prepares dancers to be majorettes at their local school! Dancers will learn basic dance foundations combined with Baton twirling tosses, spins, and hand-eye coordination.

Who This Class is Best For:
During Baton Twirling Class, dancers wear leotards or form-fitting tops, skin-tone tights, leggings or form-fitting shorts, and skin-tone leather jazz shoes. Boys wear a plain t-shirt, form-fitting compression pants or joggers, and black leather jazz shoes. All Baton Twirlers will need their own, specially-sized baton for class

Each Studio 301 baton twirling class is rooted in classical baton twirling technique, game-day training, and structured progression. Each level moves through the progression pathway through age-appropriate training.
AGES 6-7 → FOUNDATIONS
Students learn baton grips, basic twirls, and coordination skills.
AGES 8-10 → DISCOVERY
Dancers build confidence with tosses, spins, and performance routines.
AGES 11-13 → STRENGTH
Students develop stronger control, trick variations, and performance quality.
AGES 14-18 → LEADERSHIP
Oldest twirlers refine technique, toss difficulty, and performance presentation.
