Being a part of our competition team is so much MORE than winning awards. Dancers who make the commitment to compete on stage work hard as a team to improve and become more confident each and every week.

Over awards, our studio puts value in the professional feedback received from industry leaders in the dance world, the opportunity to perform in new spaces, and the progression from a beginner dancer to advanced.

SIMPLE PRICING STRUCTURE

Studio 301 is the ONLY dance studio in the area to offer all-inclusive competition team pricing. Compared to others, we understand how confusing billing can be, especially when it changes every month. We do it completely different.

Our pricing structure adds all competition, costume, and tuition fees for the entire season, and divides them amongst our ten month season. This means that no matter what time of year, what competition you attend, or how many rehearsals you have, your price stays the same each month.

Gone are the days of private fees, additional costume fees, a seperate bill for each competition, and additional tuition costs. All of your competitive costs are split evenly across our season and paid monthly.

Dancers on the competition team also receive discounted tuition on any required weekly dance classes.

ORGANIZED TRAINING

We take the guess work out of competition scheduling and rehearsal times. Where other studios ask that parents book their own time slots for solos, duet, adn trios, we ensure that each routine is scheduled for rehearsal at the same time every week.

At the beginning of the season, our competitive dancers receive their weekly rehearsal schedule, and parents can feel stress-free knowing that their dancer will continue to receive weekly training and practice with their dances at the same time each week.

IS COMPETITION RIGHT FOR MY DANCER?

Competition is not a requirement to see growth in your dancer. Our competitive team program is used as an additional tool in the overall training of committed dancers.

They express a LOVE for performing on stage.
They are interested in additional commitments to dancing.
They would like to learn through professional feedback.
They are comfortable with limited travel and additional rehearsals.

WHAT ARE THE TIME COMMITMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS?

MiniMotion and JuniorJive Prep Competitions Teams are Required to take one Weekly Jazz Class.
SeniorSpark Prep Competition Team is Required to take one Weekly Jazz Class and one Weekly Class of Choice.
ThriveElite Competition Team members are Required to take a Weekly Jazz Class, Weekly Ballet Class, and Weekly Class of Choice.
All competition teams are required to attend their once-per-week competition rehearsal.
MiniMotion, JuniorJive, and SeniorSpark are Required to attend 3 Dance Competitions, no more than 3 hours away.
ThriveElite Competition Team members are Required to attend 4 Dance Competitions, no more than 3 hours away.
All competition teams are required to attend our week-long summer intensive in the beginning of August.
The competition season begins in early August and runs through mid-April.

Hours of Commitment Weekly for ThriveElite Team - 6-7 hours
