Ages 4-5 → Imagination Movers Level Two
Ages 6-7 → Foundations
Ages 8-10 → Discovery
Ages 11-13 → Strength
Ages 14-18 → Leadership
For dancers of all levels ages 6 and above, Studio 301 offers additional performance opportunities at various commitment tiers.
Dancers ages 11+ also have the opportunity to take Advanced Learning Placement (ALP) classes to further their understanding of different genres through advanced training.

What age should my child start dancing?

At Studio 301, we take pride in guiding dancers of all ages and levels through their first dance class. With our variety of class offerings and beginner-friendly atmosphere for all ages, you can be sure to find the perfect dance class for your child at our Chesapeake, OH studio. When considering if your child is ready to dance, we highly recommend enrolling in dance class when you notice signs of moving, grooving, and creative tendencies in young dancers Ages 2-7. If your child is a bit older, we recommend trying dance class to create caring and inclusive friendships while working to acheive goals together.
Do parents stay in dance class?

During our Ages 2-3 and 4-5 Imagination Movers dance class, parents only welcome to sit in on dance classes, viewing each special moment as they learn in a new environment. For classes Ages 6 and older, parents are not permitted to sit in the classroom, but we welcome families to sit in our lobby, joining right in the fun that our studio culture provides!
Dance Class tuition is billed monthly, much like a membership to a gym! Dance classes are $45-$60/month, depending on age group and time. For more information, please view our class information.

How much do classes cost?
Is competition dance required?
No! Being a part of our competition team is the final tier within our various performance opportunities, meaning not only is competition not a requirement, but there are many different opportunities to perform on stage outside of competition teams. Each dancer’s journey is unique, and we are proud to be your guide as you find the best pathway to success for your dancer.
